My Rockin’ and Rollin’ 5 Month Old
My Baby Sean is now 5 month old.
He weighs 8.35 kgs and measures 2″2′.
He is very active, he loves to push up and rock-and-roll around on his own. His wiggling around helps him move a little forward and backward. He keeps on playing with his toes, reaching out and grabbing them to put in his mouth. He can transfer a toy or object from hand to hand.
He’s so strong, when he was 1.5 month old, he can roll on his side, he can briefly bear weight on his legs. When he was 4 month old, he can roll from his back onto his stomach, and back again. Now, he can do that without much effort! So we have to keep an eye on him all the time, especially when he’s on our bed. He can now push himself up so part of his chest and stomach are off the floor. He digs his fingers and toes into the floor to push himself toward a toy. He can sit unsupported but only briefly.
He loves to ‘talk’, pat and smile in his reflection in the mirror.
